Sofokus has been named a Microsoft Solutions Partner. Our Azure expertise is growing.

In autumn 2026, Sofokus became a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Cloud & AI Platform. It strengthens our ability to serve clients on Azure, where application development, data and AI work closely together.

Formal recognition of years of Azure experience

The Microsoft Solutions Partner designation can’t be bought. Partners earn it through trained and certified experts and a proven record of successful client deliveries. According to Microsoft, the designation shows that a partner can help clients build and manage applications with the tools and frameworks of their choice, whether in the cloud or on-premises.

We have been developing and maintaining applications on Azure for a long time. The formal designation deepens our partnership with Microsoft and adds to our multi-platform expertise. Our clients now have broader options for using different digital business technologies through a single partner.

Applications are at the core of our Microsoft expertise. Alongside building new solutions, our strengths include auditing and modernising applications and migrating them to Azure, coordinating business-critical migrations, and maintaining and developing applications further. We are also used to working in multi-vendor setups alongside our clients’ other technology partners.

What does the designation mean for our clients?

For clients, the designation is independent proof that our Azure expertise meets Microsoft’s criteria and that we build solutions with verified professional skill.

Our experts keep their certifications up to date, so client solutions are built on Microsoft’s latest methods and best practices. Microsoft’s reference architectures and ready-made operating models help projects start faster, make schedules more predictable and help maintain quality.

Cloud & AI Platform is a solution area Microsoft recently restructured, combining three previously separate areas: Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation, and Infrastructure. You may therefore still see older versions of the designation from time to time.

What kind of Azure solutions have we built?

We have delivered Azure solutions in projects of different sizes across many industries. Here are some examples of our work:

Adecco

As part of Adecco’s wider Azure migration, we moved a web service in production from its legacy cloud infrastructure to Azure without any downtime. We were responsible for the migration as well as for testing and releasing the service in the new environment.

Migrating a business-critical application to Azure

We containerised a client’s application suite and moved it from a virtual server to Azure. We wrote the technical specification together with the client and their cloud provider, and handled project management and the creation of Azure resources. We continue to develop the application alongside the client’s infrastructure partner.

Coordinating applications in a full server infrastructure migration

When a client moved its entire server infrastructure to Azure, we were responsible for the applications. We agreed schedules with all parties so that business-critical systems were migrated without disruption to end users.
